More early 70's race pictures sent in by Russ Swenton.  This episode comes from Plainville, CT on January 2&3, 1971.

These were taken at Plainville Stadium Stock Car Track and most are of the Aerospace Arctic Cat Race Team from Ct.

The team placed first and second in Stock B and C and driver Dick Doyle won Mod-V on the #1426 King Kat 800.

The latest round of early race pics from Russ Swenton were believed to be taken at the Monticello Raceway in NY on December 5 &6 1970.  Russ points out that it must have been an early race judging by the lack of snow anywhere but the track.
