Just a couple teasers from a group of incredible photos that are coming to us thanks to the hard work of Russ Swenton.

One thing I have learned from master Bush Whacker Russ Swenton is much like golf..........it's all in the follow through!!!
Russ got a call from a gentleman about a Sno-Jet racer that had been in the family. Russ did what any of us would do and went after it.....
Hmmmm.....72 Puma is not quite the same as a Thunder Jet......
Most people would have driven off, but agian...follow through!
Ok, at least the guy had the Sno Jet part right.....Yami fanner in a Cat.....hmmmmm......
Again, most would have left, but not Russ!
Upon further inspection, Russ finds the chrome shorty lightening bolt tank, zinc plated skis, one side of a mod cross over pipe, and most importantly a tag confirming a 71 EXT 440!!
Not a Thunderjet, but you never know!!!!

Keeping it in the Family
Kevin Grant's Grandfather found this 190 Sno Jet after it had sat in a barn from when last ridden in 1970 til 1997. He rode it around his back yard that year and it sat in his shed until Kevin picked it up this year.
Thanks for sharing Kevin! We look forward to seeing it at the Maine shows this year!

CROSS COUNTRY CAT!
About a month ago, a gentleman who introduced himself as Don White came into the shop I work at and asked if I had a moment to come outside and look at an old sled he had. Well any break in the day that includes an old sled is good, so out the door we went. I had NO IDEA what was in store for me.
Brian Nelson's 1979 Factory Arctic Cat I-500 machine.
Thanks to Don for stopping by with this great part of racing history. Look for some great info and a full run of pics on this sled asap!
Well, couldn't wait. Full story is up, just look under the "HOME" tab at the top of the page!
